Glendale Events Center Being Razed For Hampton Inn

GLENDALE, WI -- The old North Shore Event Centre will be torn down to make way for a new Hampton Inn, according to developers who are making improvements to two neighboring properties.

According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, Chicago-based Odyssey Hotels already owns a neighboring Glendale Residence Inn that was built in Nov. 2017 and a Fairfield Inn that will open this year in March.

When asked why the events center,7065 N. Port Washington Road, would be demolished to make way for another hotel, chairman and CEO Rachit Dhingra said the old center lacked a third story and needed extensive updating.
